Eventful few weeks...

Zach has had an eventful last few weeks. He is doing so great in school!! His teacher told me today that she is so impressed with him and even one of the other little boys in his class said that Zach could read really good!! Better than anyone else!! Of course, that makes me the proudest Moma ever!! His teacher also told me that they were supposed to read 160 stories by the end of the year and Zach was on story #156!! hehe

Zach is now telling me that he wants me to go back to work so that his Daddy won't have to go back to the tugboat. He doesn't understand that Daddy has no choice in not going back to the tugboat because they laid him off. He is just at an age where he wants his Daddy a lot more than his Mommy.

I don't want to repeat myself on this blog and my other blog. But we have been on vacation to Tennessee and we went to the river on Saturday and to the creek. I think Zach had the most fun at the creek. He kept floating down stream. It kind of scared me but of course he was fearless!!

Zach's weekend...

This past weekend, Zach decided that he wanted to spend the night with Bebe and Papa. On Friday night he went with us to get our tattoos done and of course he had to have one too. LOL The machine took his money so a guy had to come open the machine and get his tattoo out and he was so proud of Zach for being so good for 4 hours that he gave him 2 tattoos!! Here is a pic of one of them.....

Anyway, Saturday Bebe came to get him to go to her house at 10:30 a.m. They went to the river to the River Days or something that was going on down there and Papa bought him a raccoon hat...

Then Saturday night they went to a benefit sing for my great aunt and her husband because he is having medical complications from a surgery that he had a few months ago. But Bebe said that he was very very good!! I am so proud!!

Chris got a call to go back to work on Sunday early so we were going to get Zach from Bebe's but he had a fit and it was already 9:30 p.m. when the guy called to tell him to be there in the morning at 10:00 a.m. So Chris just decided that we would go see him for a little while so that he could just stay there.

On Sunday, Zach, Papa and Bebe made a lemonade stand out of a hot water heater box. When we all got there Zach "sold" us lemonade from his stand. He made $4!! LOL He was so proud. We had to bring it home because he wants to go out in our yard this Saturday and sell some to the people going by on our road. I hope he isn't too disappointed.

Thursday night at the Jewelry party my friend, Dee gave Zach his birthday present that she and her daughter had gotten for him for his birthday and hadn't had a chance to give to him. It was a gift card to Walmart, so on Friday night we went to Brewton to Walmart and Zach was just itching to use his card. We spent 30 minutes or more in the toy section with him trying to decide what kind of toy he wanted. He finally decided because I told him that I was leaving him there if he didn't decide. LOL (yeah I'm a mean Mama!!) Then we went by the shirts and ties and he decided that he wanted that instead. So we ended up getting a shirt and tie that he wore yesterday to McDonald's. He is so cute with it on!! I took a few pictures of him with it on.

Baseball!!

Tuesday we signed up for baseball!! I had to pay $50 for him to play!! WOW!! Still not sure exactly why it costs so much for baseball but Zach enjoys it so much!! He was ready to play that day. LOL They have signups until the end of February. He's hoping to be on a red team again this year but who knows what team he will be on. I think we will probably find out the first week of March because on the 7th we have to go tell them what size uniform he needs.

Of course, after all that I got the bright idea to do a scrapbook of his baseball years. I have so many scrapbooks it's not even funny. But I love pictures and I loveeee to put together scrapbooks. I also have one of his school years, starting with last year. :0) I know I'm crazy!!

Good Times.....

Zach wanted to show off his boots that Bebe and Papa got him for his birthday. I finally got him some socks long enough to wear with them. He was wearing some of Chris' and they were WAYYY too long. LOL He looked so funny with them on.

Friday night we went to Cracker Barrel in Greenville for Mom's birthday. Zach and Richard were playing checkers outside but Zach wasn't doing such a great job.

I got Zach Madagascar 2 for Valentine's Day!! Not too sure if he liked it or not. He is a little weird that way. LOL He won't come out and tell you what he likes but he sure does say things you don't want him to. HAHA!!

Birthday party!!

Zach's birthday party went really well on Saturday. We had a total of 5 kids here. Not bad but not too great either. LOL Considering he invited 23 kids total. He had fun though. That's all that matters. After the party we went to Mobile to a Mardi Gras parade and to watch a movie. We had a really exciting day.
